Good to know

Two things we want to be straight about, because the listings for these devices elsewhere are not.

Neither model burns fat. You will see belts like these advertised for "fat burning" and for slimming the waist. They do not do that, and nothing worn passively on the stomach does — fat loss comes from diet and exercise. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something the machine cannot deliver.

The stones are stones. Bianstone and jade feel smooth and hold warmth, and that is the real reason to want them. Claims that the minerals in them activate meridians or treat internal conditions are marketing, not medicine. What this belt actually gives you is warmth and kneading on the abdominal wall — comfortable, and often welcome during period cramps or when you feel bloated, but comfort rather than treatment.

Use it over a layer of clothing so the heat spreads evenly, and keep sessions to about fifteen to twenty minutes. Do not use it if you are pregnant, over an IUD, on a recent scar or surgical wound, or if you have a pacemaker — ask your doctor first in those cases.
